2. Hosting & Server Log Files
This website is hosted on a server within the European Union. The hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits:
- IP address (anonymised)
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL
- HTTP status code
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser and operating system (User-Agent)
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision of the website). The data are not merged with other sources and are deleted after a maximum of 30 days.
3. No Tracking Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising networks, or social-media tracking. Only technically necessary requests are processed.
4. Contact by E-Mail
If you contact us by e-mail, your details (e-mail address, name, and message content) are stored to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Your data will not be passed on to third parties and will be deleted after the matter is concluded, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Licensing System (Software)
When activating a licence for UPS Hyper-V Shutdown Monitor, the following data are processed on our licence server:
- Licence key
- Hardware ID of the activating device (anonymised fingerprint)
- IP address at the time of activation
- Activation timestamp and expiry date
- Optionally: customer name and e-mail address (for invoicing)
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract — licence verification and management). Data are stored for the duration of the licence agreement and deleted thereafter.
The software automatically connects to the licence server on start-up to verify licence validity, transmitting the hardware ID. A connection to the licence server is only required when an internet connection is available; offline operation is possible for a limited period.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR): What data we hold about you
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): Correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): Deletion of your data
- Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): Restriction of processing

- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): Objection to processing
To exercise your rights, please contact: mail@247-it.de
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
7. Data Security
All connections to this website and to the licence server are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Locally stored licence data are encrypted with Windows DPAPI (Data Protection API) and can only be decrypted by the Windows user account that performed the activation.
8. Currency of This Policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and dated May 2026. Further development of the website or software, or changes to legal requirements, may make it necessary to update this policy.
